Whilst nobody wishes to think about things being anything other than perfect on a holiday, regrettably sometimes things can go wrong so here are a few practical points to help ensure that your stay with us is as close to perfect as we can make it:

Ballymahon which is located only 5 minutes away has several useful features including:

The Bank of Ireland for Cashpoint and general banking services,

A doctors surgery for any medical problems should they occur, (such as hooking your thumb whilst fishing)
Travel Insurance is advised as consultation charges are between 40 and 50 euros, not including prescription charges if necessary.
European visitors can avail of the E111 form before they travel.

A local Pharmacy can be found in Ballymahon Highstreet.

Other Points:

Petrol Stations can be found very locally at Glasson or Ballymahon.

Athlone has a cinema and other entertainment should you desire it, along with lots of tourist shops for your souvenirs.

A full range of fishing tackle shops can be found within the local area, details provided upon arrival.
