With boats for hire only a few hundred meters away you can take a slow trip around the many Islands that populate Lough Ree or drift along some of the hidden pools within the reed beds.

Fishing is a major attraction in this area as the lakes and local rivers are renowned for Pike, Bream, Hybrids, Roach, Rudd and Perch.
